Organizers of the Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival have announced a star-studded lineup for this year’s fest, which not only promises to be twice the size as last year’s festival, it will venture across the bridges into West Palm for a few key events.

Some highlights of the five-day, five-night bacchanalia:

  • FRIDAY, DEC. 7: The festival launches with the Golf Digest Celebrity Chef Golf Cup and Food Truck: Impossible, a new event hosted by TV chef Robert Irvine (of Food Network’s Dinner: Impossible and Restaurant: Impossible). That night, Café Boulud Palm Beach hosts “Daniel and Friends,” starring mega-chef Daniel Boulud and his culinary team.
  • SATURDAY, DEC. 8: South Florida culinary icon Norman Van Aken serves creative bites at the Virginia Philip Wine Shop & Academy in downtown West Palm. Meanwhile, across the bridge, the Four Seasons Palm Beach hosts Burgers by the Beach, starring Bravo’s Top Chef winners Richard Blais and Kevin Sbraga, Food Network’s Robert Irvine, and Four Seasons’ executive chef Darryl Moiles. Later that night, The Breakers will re-create one of New York’s legendary restaurants at An Evening with Le Cirque: A Tribute to Sirio. It’s an all-star night: on hand to fete Le Cirque owner and maitre d’ Sirio Maccioni will be Le Cirque’s chef Olivier Reginensi, as well as chefs Daniel Boulud, David Burke, Marc Murphy and Jacques Torres, along with The Breakers’ outstanding culinary team, including executive chef of banquets Jeff Simms and master sommelier Virginia Philip.
  • SUNDAY, DEC. 9: Swank Farm hosts James Beard Award-winners Mike Lata and Marc Vetri and sommelier Jeff Benjamin, along with several of the festival’s star chefs, for a table-to-farm, multi-course lunch. Later, PB Catch Seafood & Raw Bar hosts star chef and restaurateur Marc Murphy along with his sommelier David Lombardo and PB Catch’s own chef, Aaron Black.
  • MONDAY, DEC. 10: Pistache in downtown West Palm hosts an event titled Southern Hospitality: Pig and the Goat, starring Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard and James Beard Award-winner Stephen Stryjewski, along with Pistache chef Julien Gremaud, and featuring a range of rotisseries. The festival’s “Last Supper” happens that night at Buccan, where James Beard nominee Clay Conley hosts this year’s “Best Chef: South” winner, Chris Hastings, along with 2009 winner Mike Lata, Top Chef alums Jeff McInnis and Kenny Gilbert, and Iron Chef finalist and pastry chef Elizabeth Falkner.
  • TUESDAY, DEC. 11: The festival’s grand tasting takes over 150 Worth and stages its Annual Grand Chef Throwdown, offering a $10,000 prize to the winning local chef.
