Pizzas are hot, fresh at Hot Pie Pizza

By Jodie Wagner

Palm Beach Post Staff Writer

MENU

The eatery offers a variety of pizza options, including its signature classic rock fire pizza — which can be dressed with a choice of 13 toppings — and its premium rock fire pizzas, which include Greek, Italian supreme, Upper East Side, traditional white and meatball special. Also on the menu are pastas, salads, sandwiches, burgers and appetizers.

ATMOSPHERE

Warm and friendly. There are few tables inside the eatery, and seating is self-serve.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

We shared a 16-inch classic rock fire pizza with pepperoni ($13.95, plus $2.50 per topping), an order of cheese bread with marinara sauce ($5.95), a house salad for two ($9.95) and a meatball parmigiana sandwich ($8.95), which was served with roasted fries. The sandwich was a bit skimpy on the meatballs, but the pizza and cheese bread were very good. We particularly enjoyed the pizza crust, which was not too doughy or crisp.

REASON TO GO

Hot, fresh pizza at competitive prices.

SERVICE

Quick and efficient.

NOISE LEVEL

Moderate. Hot Pie Pizza does a bustling take-out business, so there were few diners inside the eatery during our meal.

KID FRIENDLY

Definitely. Pizza and cheese bread were big hits with our kids, as were the mini bottles of soda they enjoyed during our meal.
