There are so many good and tempting dining options along Delray’s Atlantic Avenue district that usually it’s tough to commit to just one spot for the night. But on this Thursday and Friday nights, when Tastemakers of Delray Beach sweeps along the avenue, you can indulge at 21 eateries on the same night.

Tastemakers is a restaurant crawl that goes from 5 to 10 p.m. on those nights, offering diners a special food and beverage pairing from each participating restaurant. All you need is an event passport and a hearty appetite.

The passport, which can be purchased for $30 cash at any of the 21 restaurants, is your ticket to nibbles and cocktails from some of Delray’s best restaurants. Among them: The Office (serving its Prime CEO Burger), Max’s Harvest (Roasted Green Cay Beet Salad with a Backyard Watermelon Martini), Cut 432 (steakhouse taco), Deck 84 (crab cake), Caffe Luna Rosa (Florida lobster and crab bisque), Park Tavern, Salt 7, Vic & Angelo’s (four cheese pear tortelloni), and 75 Main.

The eateries are scattered across 14 blocks, ensuring some calorie-burning walks between bites. Or not – there’s also shuttle service from 4:30 to 10 p.m. to deposit you at seven convenient stops.

Consider the passport your event goodie bag, as it contains special offers that can be used through September.

MARTINI WEDNESDAYS AT III FORKS

Where can you get a 5-buck martini these days?

If it’s Wednesday, you can get a good one at III Forks Prime Steakhouse during summer. The PGA Boulevard restaurant is pouring a different specialty hump-day martini. The flavors and ingredients may change from week to week, but two things won’t change:

The name – it’s called The Sure Thing martini.

The price – it’s $5.
