MENU

Equestrian Park Grill features a variety of American favorites, including rib-eye steak, barbecue pork ribs, roasted chicken and jumbo fried shrimp. Salads, soups and appetizers like pimento macaroni and cheese and baked brie also are featured. Homemade desserts include key lime pie and chocolate cake.

ATMOSPHERE

Relaxed and rustic. The eatery, located in the middle of horse country, was built out of a converted barn.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

We shared a bowl of onion soup as an appetizer ($5) before moving on to our entrees. My husband ordered chicken parmigiana ($16), while I opted for the chopped salad ($12). Both were delicious, and plentiful. The parmigiana featured a large, breaded chicken breast smothered in homemade Italian sauce and served with melted mozzarella cheese, seasonal veggies and pasta. The salad featured grilled chicken strips, walnuts, apples, avocado and tomato served over mixed greens. Our son enjoyed an appetizer-size portion of chicken tenders ($9).

KID FRIENDLY

There is no kids’ menu, but the appetizer and tapas menus yield kiddie favorites like chicken tenders and fried shrimp. Our server also brought over a bucket of coloring books and crayons for our son.
