SalsaFest begins Friday in Greenacres

GREENACRES —

The annual SalsaFest outdoor festival begins Friday evening and continues through Sunday at Greenacres Community Park. Headliner Groupo Niche, a salsa band from Colombia, is scheduled to perform at 8:15 p.m. Saturday. SalsaFest includes salsa cook-offs, a salsa dancing competition, a domino tournament, Chihuahua races and carnival rides for kids. Hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday (carnival rides only); 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Saturday and noon until 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults ($15 after 5 p.m.).
