MENU

The Taco Lady serves up the basics: tacos, burritos, quesadillas and tamales (although tamales weren’t available during our visit). Most items are priced below $10.

ATMOSPHERE

Very casual. The Taco Lady is a tiny eatery with a few tables. Most of the business is takeout.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

The shredded beef tacos (two for $5.50) were excellent, with tender meat and plenty of lettuce and tomatoes. We also tried the chicken tacos and pork tacos, which were just so-so. The salsa was good, but the chips tasted suspiciously like Tostitos.

REASON TO GO

Cheap, quick Mexican fare is The Taco Lady’s calling card.

SERVICE

Our server was friendly. She forgot the quesadilla we ordered but was apologetic when she realized the oversight.

NOISE LEVEL

Quiet. If you’re carrying out your order, the noise level won’t matter much.

KID FRIENDLY

The informal vibe and cheap fare make it a good destination for families.
