Drink, dine dockside in Boynton

By Leslie Gray Streeter

Palm Beach Post Staff Writer

There are so many choices for waterfront dining around here, and two of my favorites are floating right next to each other, separated by a parking lot and a sliver of the Intracoastal Waterway. Recently, Mr. That Girl and I visited both Two Georges and Banana Boat Lounge on the same day, with different groups of friends … consider it a cocktail field trip. First at Two Georges, I had a Bahama Mama and the delicious Maryland crab soup — you gotta love a Florida restaurant that flies the Maryland flag. Makes me homesick and hungry. Later, we stopped by the fun, Florida-themed Banana Boat for Happy Hour (4 to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays) and for some breezy conversation. And to be able to do that in the winter? Bonus!
