You’ll find all the American classic comfort foods at Nana’s Diner for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

MENU

Breakfast, lunch and dinner served all day. Eggs, pancakes, omelets, French toast, and waffles are standard fare. The lunch and dinner menu include entrees from Italy, Mexico and Greece, along with American staples such as meat loaf, pot roast and fried catfish.

ATMOSPHERE

Classic American diner with vintage pictures of cars and other memorabilia on the walls; mostly booths in the front dining area, with a counter and stools to view the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. A larger dining area is located in the back of the restaurant.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICES

I ordered the French onion soup ($5.95), which was smooth and delicious, a perfect balance of onion, garlic and cheese. For the main course, I had the meatloaf ($12.75), which came with two sides. The portions was generous: two slices of homemade meat loaf seasoned with Italian spices, red and green peppers, topped off with hearty mushroom gravy.

REASON TO GO

The menu has something for everyone. Homemade and fresh is their promise, and they deliver!

SERVICE

Nicole, our waitress, was attentive and accommodating. When I couldn’t make up my mind on which soup to order, she brought me a sample so I could decide. They were still ironing out kitchen timing issues when I visited, as they had only been open a little more than a week.

NOISE LEVEL

A typical diner atmosphere with patrons chattering and dishes clanking. The back dining area doesn’t have the kitchen noise.

KID FRIENDLY

The kid’s menu has more than 10 entrees and includes healthy side choices such as sweet potato fries or sliced apples.
