The cozy atmosphere makes Fiorentino’s Italian Cuisine feel like your Italian aunt’s dining room.

MENU

Italian eatery, with appetizers, salads, soups, hot and cold sandwiches, pasta, chicken, seafood, veal, steak, burgers, desserts.

ATMOSPHERE

Cozy and charming, with plenty of rooster accents and home-style décor that makes you feel like you’re sitting in your Italian aunt’s dining room. There’s soft lighting, local artists’ paintings on the walls and glass-topped tables with vinyl tablecloths in two large dining rooms.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

The chicken Marsala ($16.95) was delicious and very tender, sautéed with mushrooms in a sweet Marsala wine sauce. It was served with pasta and a choice of soup or salad. Warm, buttery garlic bread was served shortly after we were seated. The chicken parmigiana ($14.95) was equally tasty, tender inside and crispy outside with a rich marinara sauce and ample cheese.

REASON TO GO

Homemade Italian dishes in an inviting atmosphere, all at a reasonable price just east of quaint downtown Stuart.

SERVICE

Extremely slow the night we visited, prompting a few couples to leave when they were told it could take an hour for their food to arrive. Our waitress explained the delay was due to a large party seated in the adjoining dining room and an overflow crowd from the nearby Lyric Theatre. Despite the delay, our waitress tried to keep the bread basket refilled to stave off our hunger.

NOISE LEVEL

Moderate chatter from a crowded dining room and light music in the background.

KID FRIENDLY

Children can choose from an extensive lineup including cheeseburgers, chicken fingers, spaghetti and meatballs, ziti alfredo, ravioli and stuffed shells.
