MENU

The style is Turkish, but the menu features everything from char-grilled meatballs to filo-wrapped tilapia. There were more than two dozen appetizers to choose from, as well as several salads, soups, pizza and wraps. Dessert is limited to flan and baklava, but the portions are so huge you’ll have very little room left for sweets.

ATMOSPHERE

The restaurant, tucked away in a shopping plaza, has about 20 tables. The ambience is as quaint and intimate as the eclectic artwork hanging on the walls of each booth.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

The chicken shish kabob ($15.95) and filet of North Atlantic salmon ($18.95) were so succulent, my wife and I shared the dishes. The waitress recommended the salmon, promising we would be back for more, and it didn’t disappoint. It was tender and melted in our mouths. The cucumber dipping sauce which accompanied the chicken was so fresh, we used it for both entrees. The side dishes of rice, sliced eggplant and sliced carrots were moist yet firm, the perfect complement.

REASON TO GO

Fantastic food and beautiful atmosphere and ambience. Great place to enjoy a lovely date/night out.

SERVICE

Because of the small number of tables, it took us about five minutes to be seated, and we were looking at our menus for almost 10 minutes more before the waitress took our orders. She was knowledgeable and sweet. However, the food was so tantalizing, and the waitress so polite, that it was all worth the wait.

NOISE LEVEL

On a Saturday at 6:30 p.m., the quaint bistro was so quiet, we could hear conversations at the tables next to us.

KID FRIENDLY

There were no children in the restaurant. Most dishes were prepared with eclectic flavors, so this restaurant is more for romance than childhood banter.
