ATMOSPHERE

Casual and friendly. There’s a sprinkling of marble-topped tables, booths and high-tops in the small dining area, and guests order at the front counter. A big-screen TV on the wall is tuned to sporting events.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

The pepperoni pizza ($14.99 for an 18-inch extra-large) was delicious, with an expertly baked crust and New York-style cheese and pepperoni. The baked ziti with meatballs ($10.95) was also very tasty and came with mouth-watering garlic knots and salad.

REASON TO GO

Tasty, affordable, home-cooked Italian dishes in a fun setting. The menu includes several unique varieties of pizzas, including the square, thin-crusted “grandma’s pizza” and the lasagna pizza, which is exactly like what it sounds — pizza topped with lasagna. Delivery and take-out are availabl, and a 16-inch cheese pizza is only $5 on Mondays and Tuesdays, dine-in or pickup only.
