ATMOSPHERE

Fun and festive, with two large dining rooms and another row of cozy booths adjacent to an elegant wood and brick bar. Rich wood carvings on the walls and bright southwest colors make it seem like you’re dining far, far from Florida.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

As soon as we were seated in our comfy booth, a waitress delivered a warm bowl of tortilla chips and two small bowls of delicious garden-style salsa. I opted for a combination dinner of two enchiladas and a taco ($10.95) and found it so tasty I almost finished the entire platter. The dinner was served with refried beans and Spanish rice. I opted for fillings of ground beef and shredded chicken. The meal was bursting with flavor and comparable to dishes I’ve eaten in Cozumel.

REASON TO GO

If you’re a lover of Mexican food, this restaurant will keep you coming back time and time again. Entrees are huge and so reasonably priced, you can afford to treat the entire family.

SERVICE

Excellent. The waitress was never far from the table and filled requests immediately.

NOISE LEVEL

Moderate chatter from the nearly full dining room. Spanish music was audible in the restroom.

KID FRIENDLY

Children can choose from tacos, enchiladas, burritos and tamales.
