Get your jammies on — for Boynton breakfast

By Leslie Gray Streeter

Palm Beach Post Staff Writer

There was a brief ’90s phenomenon called Pajama Jammy Jams, inspired by a soiree in “House Party 2” hosted by then-rap stars Kid N’ Play, where everyone wore pajamas to get their grooves on. Neither Play, Kid nor Kid’s giant high top fade were in evidence at the Pajama Brunch at Boynton’s The Little House, and all the grooving was of the culinary kind. But owner Chrissy Benoit does, indeed, encourage diners to sport their appropriate sleepwear while jamming on her tiny Belgian waffle sliders, fun old school breakfast cereal bar, and the inventive Bloody Mary bar. I felt slightly silly for about 30 seconds, but in a place as intimate and cozy as The Little House, I quickly felt right at home. And when you’re eating good waffles you stop caring what you look like.

The Little House’s Pajama Brunch, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and Sundays, 480 E. Ocean Ave., Boynton Beach. 561-752-6957
