ATMOSPHERE

A fun, hole-in-the-wall restaurant where everyone seems to know one another and locals gather for food, pool, TV sporting events and arcade games. There are two big dining rooms, a full bar and an area for live entertainment.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

We started with two dozen wings ($15) and found them perfectly cooked and extra saucy the way we like. The cowboy steak ($15.75) was tender and delicious, and so large it nearly covered the plate.

REASON TO GO

For good food in a fun atmosphere, look no farther than Scooters. There are several TV sets for watching the big game and pool tables and arcade games for family fun. It seems like there’s a party going on at each table.

SERVICE

Fairly good. It was crowded the night we went, but the waitress filled our requests pretty quickly.

NOISE LEVEL

Moderate to loud, depending on whether there’s live entertainment.

KID FRIENDLY

Children will love the games and have their own menu of burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders and grilled cheese.
