MENU

It’s pub grub, with a definite Irish twist. There are bangers in blankets, shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, Irish bacon and corned beef.

ATMOSPHERE

It has a bar/pub atmosphere, but with some really good food. Be prepared for it to be quite noisy, however.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

My wife and I and our two grown sons stopped in on a Friday evening, finding ourselves seated next to a large group of young female schoolteachers who were celebrating the last day of school before winter break — and boy were they celebrating. Fortunately, they were way ahead of us on their service and left by the time our meals arrived so we could finally hear each other. Our sons ordered the prime rib ciabatta ($9.95) and the Irish bacon burger ($11.95). My wife went with the mahi sandwich ($10.95) and I chose the fish and chips ($15.95). My fish was a little on the greasy side, although not as bad as the first time we had been here. My wife’s sandwich was very good, and the sweet potato fries with it were a good combo. Our youngest son’s burger was good as well, but more well-done than medium. Our oldest son’s prime rib ciabatta was absolutely wonderful. It was the least expensive of the orders, but the one that would bring me back over and over again.

REASON TO GO

Good food, decent prices.

SERVICE

Great server, reasonable service times.

NOISE LEVEL

Very, very noisy. Unbearably at times.

KID FRIENDLY

Probably not
