I admit to not being an expert in fish personalities, so I’m not sure if groupers are generally more grumpy than other fish. I do know that the Grumpy Grouper left me feeling the complete opposite — it’s a super-fun place, with live music, friendly servers, great drink specials and really delicious fish and chips. It’s the kind of place where you’re in no hurry to rush through your meal — in fact, we had such a good time that halfway through our dinner, we called a friend to join us and hung out through her meal, too! Comfortable, reasonable and full of fried fish — just how I like my restaurants.
