The Italian dishes draw large crowds to Carmine’s Coal Fired Pizza in Jupiter.

MENU

The menu covers every kind of Italian dish you can think of, as well as soups, salads, pizza and several chef’s specials.

ATMOSPHERE

On a recent Friday night, the place was packed. It was very lively, and people seemed to be having a great time.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

Before we ordered anything, our waiter delivered fresh bread and pesto sauce for dipping; the bread basket and plate were soon empty. For an appetizer, we tried the cold antipasto plate ($14.95), which included prosciutto, salami, provolone cheese, olives, artichokes and roasted red peppers. Again, we cleaned the plate. Based on our waiter’s recommendation, my husband ordered the veal piccata ($18.95) with linguine instead of the standard spaghetti; it soaked up the delicious sauce better. The penne caprese ($11.95), ordered by my 13-year-old daughter, served up a plate of penne topped with fresh mozzarella, chopped tomatoes, olive oil and heavy garlic (which she loves!). I enjoyed the eggplant parmesan ($13.95). The eggplant was baked and smothered in Carmine’s red sauce. The portions were so large, the three of us had enough left over for lunch the next day.

REASON TO GO

Fantastic food and great service.

SERVICE

Our waiter, Josh, was very knowledgeable about the extensive menu, ready with recommendations and was at the table whenever we needed something.

NOISE LEVEL

The large and crowded restaurant was very loud. At times we struggled to hear each other above the din.

KID FRIENDLY

There is a standard kids menu, with burgers, mac and cheese, pizzas and pasta.
