ArtPalmBeach 2013 brings the best of contemporary art to the Palm Beach County Convention Center this weekend. More than 80 galleries will feature more than 500 artists from 13 countries whose work includes paintings, sculpture, jewelry, photography, design and fine art glass.

The fair will honor the lifetime accomplishments of Italian master Lino Tagliapietra and will feature a one-man exhibition of major works presented by Schantz Galleries. Tagliapietra is one of the world’s most accomplished artists working with art studio glass.

ArtPalmBeach also features special installations, exhibitions, lectures, museum tours, art performances and artist meet-and-greets.

This year, ArtPalmBeach will introduce first-time exhibitors from Russia, Korea, Lebanon, China and Argentina.

Where: Palm Beach County Convention Center, 650 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach.

When: noon to 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and noon to 6 p.m. Monday.

Admission: One-day pass: $15 in advance, $20 at the door; Multi-day pass: $20 in advance, $25 at the door; free for children younger than 12 with an adult.
