MENU

A combination of French and Floridian favorites. Pistache serves such staples as coq au vin and steak frites, but there’s also coconut mahi-mahi and grilled salmon. Dinner entrees range from $18.50 to $33. Pistache has an extensive wine list.

ATMOSPHERE

Dark and Parisian. Pistache serves up the feel of a formal French dining room. Outdoor tables overlook waterfront Clematis.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

The Florida bouillabaisse ($28) was a hearty helping of fish stew with plenty of scallops and mussels. The grilled Atlantic salmon with steamed asparagus ($24.75) also was a winner — the champagne sauce was rich and tasty.

REASON TO GO

Authentic French fare and ambience.

SERVICE

Friendly and efficient. Our servers refilled our bread basket and water glasses.

NOISE LEVEL

Modest. We sat outside, and there was a bit of noise from traffic and the park across the street.

KID FRIENDLY

Not exactly. You could take kids, but the vibe is decidedly grown-up.
