West Palm Beach’s premier destination for stand-up comedy will feature a showcase of professional comics hand selected by Gabriel Iglesias this weekend. The lineup of “Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution” features Martin Moreno, Shaun Latham, Dillon Garcia, and Alfred Robles. Also the stars of the Comedy Central series by the same name, the Iglesias-approved comedians will deliver their unique and hilarious views on subjects ranging from race and family to marriage and video games, tonight through Sunday at The Palm Beach Improv.

During the week, the Improv presents the best in new talent at the Open Mic Comedy Showcase. See these comedic legends blossom before they get their break at 8 p.m. Wednesday. The Improv also offers stand-up classes for those who have been bit by the comedy bug, where many of the Showcase performers got their start. Students will learn to generate material using life experiences and overcome stage fright, as well as memorization techniques, joke structure, concepts, and more. The class culminates in a graduation performance on stage at the Improv, where students will perform their unique five minute stand-up routine.
