Sushi Simon recommended by sushi experts

By Leslie Gray Streeter

Palm Beach Post Staff Writer

You know those commercials that tout a toothbrush’s superiority because actual dentists use it? That’s how I felt about Sushi Simon, a restaurant so fresh, creative and good that a friend of mine who owns a sushi restaurant raves about it and insisted that I go. And he’s not wrong. It’s almost startling to find such intricate (and, in some cases, pricey) rolls tucked into a corner of a Boynton strip mall. We enjoyed the 2008 Roll, with lobster, spicy tuna, shrimp and cilantro, and the 24/7 Roll, crammed with salmon and imitation crab and topped with that yummy tempura stuff I’m not supposed to eat. But it’s yummy. And Sushi Simon is special. So it’s allowed just this once.
