Toojay’s Original Gourmet Deli is a welcome stop for mall shoppers, offering good service and good food. Take-out is also available.

MENU

The menu includes everything from salads and deli sandwiches to burgers and fish dinners. Gluten-free and vegetarian menus are also available. Toojay’s also has an extensive catering menu.

ATMOSPHERE

Toojay’s is located on the second floor in the Mall at Wellington Green. The restaurant has plenty of booths and tables. There is a takeout counter where you can order your favorite items to take home.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

We started with some soup and a half order of cheese blintzes ($3.95). I had the French onion soup ($4.50). I really enjoyed it, although the cheese was lacking on top. My husband ordered a cup of chili ($3.75). For dinner, I ordered Toojay’s shepherd pie ($11.75), which included a side salad. My husband ordered the ultimate brisket ($9.25). He finished off his meal with a slice of carrot cake ($3.85). Everything was delicious.

REASON TO GO

The food was very good, and the prices aren’t bad. It’s also very convenient if you are in the mall shopping. I’ve never had anything from Toojay’s that I didn’t enjoy.

SERVICE

CJ, our server, was very friendly and attentive. We never had an empty glass at our table. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door.

NOISE LEVEL

The noise level was moderate. That’s not bad considering how crowded it was the night we were there. There was music playing softly in the background.

KID FRIENDLY

Toojay’s offers a menu with kids’ favorite items, such as cheeseburgers, chicken salad chop, chicken tenders, tuna melt and grilled cheese.
