It was late-ish. We were hungry. We were driving down Lake Avenue in my dear downtown L-Dub, staring out the window for some inspiration, when we both saw Yama and, at the same time, said “Wait. We’ve never gone there!” And instantly we were in for a treat, even if it was a wee pricier than our usual workday fare. It’s a passport of Asian fare, Japanese, Thai and Korean,. Yama’s slightly dark and cozy, all the better to dig in and enjoy our Pad Thai and Korean barbecue. It felt special, even though it was just Monday. Even Mondays should have a little special, huh?
