Quick Bites: Taste of the nation

By Liz Balmaseda

West Palm Beach —

The charitable chefs and mixologists involved in tonight’s Taste of the Nation event at the Kravis Center serve some of the most sumptuous meals in the county. But tonight, they’ll cook their hearts out for a shared cause: ending childhood hunger in America.
Heading the Second Annual Taste of the Nation Palm Beach event are celebrated chefs Zach Bell (Addison Reserve Country Club), Clay Conley (Buccan) and Allen Susser (BurgerBar). The food and wine grand tasting features samples from some of the best eateries in the county, including 3800 Ocean, The Breakers, Café Boulud, Buccan, PBCatch, Pistache, Café Chardonnay, Max’s Harvest, Casa D’ Angelo, Ironwood Steak & Seafood, Joe’s Stone Crab, Talay Thai, the Four Seasons and the Ritz-Carlton.
And here’s the best part: 100 percent of the ticket sales and profits benefit local agencies and the “No Kid Hungry” campaign by Share Our Strength (Strength.org), a national nonprofit devoted to ending childhood hunger.
