Toasting to Palm Beach opera season

Wine Event: Palm Beach Opera’s Young Friends to toast at sparkling wine and Champagne tasting

What they’re pouring: A selection of sparkling wines and Champagne

The details: Kick off the opera season with a celebration of sparkling wine and Champagne from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Wine Dive, at 319 N. Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach, hosts the event. In addition to the wine tasting, there will be light bites.

This mix and mingle event is intended to introduce members to La Traviata, the first opera in the season. Visit PBOpera.org for additional information about membership to the PBO Young Friends.

‘TANTALIZING TASTINGS’ AT STORE SELF STORAGE

Wine Event: Tantalizing Tastings with Roberta Sabban

What they’re pouring: Wines expertly selected by Roberta Sabban

The details: This event is designed to offer wine lovers, from consumers to collectors, the opportunity to taste and purchase select vintages from some of the finest producers in the world. The event takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Store Self Storage and Wine Storage, 11010 N. Military Trail in Palm Beach Gardens. Wine professionals will be on hand to answer questions and to help with selections from the exclusive inventory.

Cost: $25 in advance; $30 at the door
