At $24.99, these cookies may not be a budget choice for the kids' bake sale, but served warm from the oven they're worth their weight in gold. The ingredients are top-quality, with no unpronounceable preservatives or chemicals.

We tried the Chocolate Mocha Chip, a chocolate espresso dough filled with Guittard dark-chocolate chips, and Oatmeal Raisin Deluxe, thick with bits of cranberry, pineapple, apricots, dates and golden and black raisins. Both were excellent (high praise from someone who loves to bake from scratch). The tubs arrive frozen, and keep two months frozen or two weeks refrigerated.
