This past weekend’s International Kinetic Art Symposium drew more than 2,000 people and was a boon to downtown area restaurants, coordinator Debby Coles-Dobay said.
“We even had artists travel to Boynton Beach who were not in the exhibit to learn more about kinetic art and speak to the kinetic artists in the exhibit,” Cobay, head of the city’s Art in Public Places program, told officials and organizers. “The best reward is hearing people say how much they enjoyed the event and that it was in Boynton Beach.”
