JUNO BEACH -- —

A third delay to OceanFest, an outdoor festival on A1A that includes a Ferris wheel, vendors and live music, is scheduled for consideration at today’s5:30 p.m. council meeting. New Smyrna Beach-based SouthStar Productions originally received council approval to hold the event in November. The promoters, siting a need for more time to organize the event, were granted a delay until Feb. 22-24. The promoters are now asking to hold the event April 26-28. Traffic would be shut down in both directions on A1A from Donald Ross Road north to Marcinski Road. Daily admission would be $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. About 10,000 people are expected. Alcohol would be sold, according to town records.
