By Willie Howard

Palm Beach Post Staff Writer

LAKE WORTH —

A folk concert by singer/songwriter Tom Neilson is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday at the Quaker Meeting House of Lake Worth, 823 N. A St. Neilson, a former Vietnam War protester, plays guitar and sings songs that are considered funny, compelling and politically charged, often challenging the powers that be. Concert organizer Lisa Stewart said Neilson’s music is done in the style of folk singers Pete Seeger and Phil Ochs. Tickets cost $15 and will be available at the door. For information, call Stewart at (561) 713-7053.
