MENU

It’s a typical Mexican restaurant menu, with a few Cuban specialties thrown in as well.

ATMOSPHERE

The décor is Mexican. When we were seated, the overhead music was quite loud. Without even asking, the person who seated us noticed it and went and turned it down.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

My wife, son and sister and I stopped in on a Friday evening about 6 p.m. We ordered chicken fajitas ($12.99), chicken tacos al carbon ($10.99), chicken flautas ($11.99) and El Patron, which is a chicken enchilada, beef burrito, ground beef taco and jalapeno poppers ($12.99). All were served with rice and beans, and everyone was pleased with their meal. The chicken flautas were very good, but on a return trip I’d get the fajitas again – the seasoning was wonderful.

REASON TO GO

It’s first-rate Mexican food.

SERVICE

Our meals came quickly, and when we ran out of chips and salsa, they brought us more without asking.

NOISE LEVEL

It was quiet, although only two or three other tables were occupied while we were there.

KID FRIENDLY

There is a children’s menu ranging from $3.25-$4.50.
