Delray’s newest eatery has a light and fresh appetizer that’s perfect for summer. Big eye tuna is dusted with cumin and chili, then lightly seared and sliced to reveal a soft and pink interior. The tuna is served over a creamy avocado coulis with a fresh mango and cilantro salad, topped with perfectly crisp yuca chips.

“It’s great for this weather because it’s not too heavy. When it’s hot, this is a nice, cool dish to refresh the palate,” says chef John Thomas, a South Florida native who studied at Florida Culinary Institute and worked under Nick Morfogen at Delray hotspot, 32 East. Open just two weeks, 75 Main is modeled after its sister restaurant, the swanky, celeb-ified 75 Main in Southampton. THE INFO: 75 Main, at 270 E. Atlantic Ave. in Delray Beach, serves brunch and lunch daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and dinner Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 11 p.m., and to midnight on Friday and Saturday. There’s also a weekend bar menu served until 2 a.m. Phone: (561) 243-7975. | Directions, invite a friend
