How can you make up for the money you sink into your iPhone every month? Ring up savings with iPhone shopping applications:

Amazon Mobile - You’re at the mall and wonder, “Can I get this cheaper on Amazon?” This free app will answer that question for you.

CompareMe - The $1.99 app compares grocery items based on size and volume – type in the price, unit of measurement and size of the products you’re comparing, and CompareMe will figure out which is the better buy.

Coupon Sherpa – After you enter a list of your favorite stores, the free app searches for coupons on the Internet.

HSN - One of the newest shopping apps, it allows users to buy directly from HSN.com. It’s free and includes a “shake2shop” game similar to Urbanspoon’s popular recommendation feature (shake your iPhone, and Urbanspoon randomly produces a selection of nearby eateries).

ShopStyle - The free app lets you to browse ShopStyle.com from an iPhone, to check nearby stores to compare prices or search for sizes.

My Card Star – A virtual wallet, this free app stores all the info of your retailer credit cards. Just scan your phone at the register.

Lucky at Your Service - Lucky magazine bills its app as “the first-ever digital shopping concierge.” It tracks down products at nearby stores, checks availability and puts them on hold.

Net-App – The free app lets Net-a-Porter.com shoppers buy from their phones - an advantage, since many items sell out within hours on the designer fashion site.

Be Nice to Bunnies - Was that mascara you’re eyeing at Sephora tested on animals? This $1.99 app, courtesy of PETA, will tell you.

Pennies – Record your purchases and watch the app deduct them from the monthly budget you’ve set on a fuel gauge-style indicator.
