The plus-size revolution is hitting the runway this fall at Lincoln Center.

Onestopplus.com is hosting the firstĀ  plus-size only fashion show on September 15th.

The curvy models will feature the latest collections for Spring 2011.

Lizzie Miller, and Tocarra Jones have been chosen to walk the runway. Plus-size icon and model Emme will host the red carpet event.

    Well it’s about time us “fluffy” women are given the respect we deserve. Not all of us can be a size 0!

    Young girls today need to see and learn that you don’t have to be a size 0 or even a 6 to be deemed “beautiful” by today’s society.

    There are plenty of us out there big boned, chunky, fluffy or otherwise plus-size that are just as, if not more, beautiful than some of the models today who clearly need to eat and keep down a bowl of pasta &/or a burger!

    Now if only the so called “plus size” stores would actually use “plus-sized” models – up near size 20 or so instead of what they deem as plus sized -14! Believe they’d earn better revenues. I’m just saying….
