(Jennifer Podis/The Palm Beach Post)

UPDATE: Weather as of 12:30 p.m.

We’re officially underway at SunFest, and judging by what was a pretty good crowd on Wednesday, it’s going to get pretty crowded as we head into the weekend.

We’ll have plenty of tips all day, and we’ll also have plenty of tips available on our new SunFest-only Twitter account, @SunFestPulse. In addition, if you have any tips, leave them in the comments.

Parking: For those looking to save a few bucks on parking, today’s a great day to get a reservation. You can either get a $99 deal, which is four one-day admissions and a parking spot at the Judicial Center, or a weekender pass for either the Judicial Center ($12) or the Governmental Center ($20). But today would be the best day to get this, and it’s at sunfest.com.

For more information on parking, check out our Taking Your Pulse on favorite places to park during SunFest. We include a link to the SunFest official parking map.

Traffic: As always, traffic will be heavier the closer you get to downtown, especially during rush hour. Click here for the latest information and news on local traffic.

Parking: The deal with parking is, obviously, the closer you are to the waterfront, the more it’ll cost. A couple of ideas for bargain hunters: The cheapest lot, according to SunFest.com, is the United lot ($5/$10 on weekend) on Hibiscus between Quadrille and Dixie. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have lighting. You could also pursue a lot reservation and save a few bucks — the least expensive are at the Judicial Center ($5) and the Governmental Center ($8), but you have to set it up at sunfest.com before 10 p.m. the day before. More tips as we go.

Weather: (as of noon) WPTV’s Kait Parker says it’ll be hot during the afternoon with some occasional showers, so break out the shorts and t-shirts:
