Remember how everybody used to accuse the former “American Idol” judge (but forever your girl) of getting a little overly familiar with the male auditioners and contestants? That she flirted a little too much, and in some cases picked her tiny self up and flung herself over her product placement Coke cup right into their very young arms?

Well, as wacky as Sister used to get, I don’t ever remember her asking a hopeful to take his shirt off. But that’s what Kara did in last night’s Denver episode, raising her inappropriateness with the Bikini Girl rivalry right into hideousness. It was supposed to be funny, when she and Posh Spice asked this kid with a blusey voice and a ponytail to take his hair down. But saying “Take your shirt off?” Sleazy. If Simon and Randy had said to some girl “Take your jacket off and let’s see the goods”….well, even if they wanted to they wouldn’t do that. Harrassment knows no gender, y’all. I…well…it was sorta gross.

Hello, y’all! Your “American Idol” Boot Camp will be back this year, including with a blog from the second night of auditions. I was unable to blog last night, as I had planned, because unexpected work obligations took precedence. But I caught it this morning, and can say – love that girl who sang to her grandmother, as well as Bosa, the Italian kid and the dude who fell out of the tree and broke his wrists.

And I loved Posh Spice – very composed, very sweet and wouldn’t take any guff from Simon.

Tonight…Mary J. Blige freaks out the ATL with her awesomeness. Can you handle it?

Victoria Beckham had “facial expression” lessons before appearing on ‘American Idol’.

The British singer-turned-fashion-designer was determined to impress during her first stint as a judge on the US TV talent show, so called on some experts to give her advice.

A source said: “Victoria knows she has a very thick British accent and is sometimes misunderstood in America.

She wanted to come across the best she could on ‘American Idol’, so she took some private lessons on how to properly pronounce words and how to make appropriate facial expressions.

“Victoria is famous for her pout but she herself admitted she wanted to shed that pout for the show to come across more human.”

As well as elocution tips, the 35-year-old star also underwent drama lessons ahead of her appearance.

Victoria was asked to guest judge on the show following the departure of Paula Abdul, who announced she would not be returning to the series last week.

Victoria Beckham is set to become a judge on ‘American Idol’.

The 35-year-old star has reportedly been approached by the show’s producer Simon Fuller – who managed the Spice Girls and is an advisor to Victoria’s husband David – about replacing Paula Abdul on the popular US TV series.

Paula revealed she was quitting yesterday (05.08.09). It is believed she made the decision following a row over pay.

Victoria – whose spouse David has had heated exchanges with angry Los Angeles Galaxy supporters since expressing his wish to join a European club – is due to begin filming auditions for the new series tomorrow (07.08.09).

A source said: “Victoria is hugely flattered as this is one of the highest profile shows in America. It is a really big deal. Her husband David may be having a hard time at the moment but Victoria’s profile Stateside has never been higher.

“The show needs a big star. It would be an incredible coup to get her. She was in one of the biggest girl groups in history so she knows what she is talking about. Simon Fuller is now speaking to her.”
