True Blood fans, start the countdown clocks! There is a date for the Season 2 premiere. However unofficial it is.

Charlaine Harris, author of the Sookie Stackhouse novels on which the show is based, says the first episode in the show’s second season will air on Sunday, June 14.

Harris made the announcement on a message board on her website and said this date was given to her from the assistant to the show’s creator, Alan Ball.

HBO has yet to confirm this date and is sticking with their vague sometime-in-June time frame.
