TV-Cleveland Show
Fox is rewarding “The Cleveland Show” with a second season even before the first season has begun.

The spinoff from the network’s hit animated series “Family Guy” is scheduled to premiere next fall.

But now Fox says its boosting the initial 22-episode order by another 13 half-hours, which would carry the show into the 2010-11 season.

From “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane, “The Cleveland Show” focuses on Cleveland Brown, a popular character from the “Family Guy” gang.

That’s surprising… I really don’t know how good the show will be without all the other characters. That’s why I don’t get spin-offs – I love the show, and Cleveland is funny, but it’s his interaction with the other characters that’s funny. They’ll still have to create a whole new cast that people will like. (and I think Seth Macfarlane is already running out of voices between that and American Dad.)

Don’t get me wrong… I’ll watch of course :) Just hope it doesn’t turn out to be a cartoon ‘Joey’.

  2. Peter says:

Your doing a “seinfeld” on Cleveland, seinfeld worked great as a group, but seperate, they all fizzled.
I like Cleveland (the voice is annoying), but not as a main character, you wanna show, hire the handicap “JOE”, now Joe’s funny with his outbursts that come out of nowhere and of course the classic from his wife “it’s what Joe calls sex’
