The folks over at USA Network would like you to know that when they said earlier this week that Donald “The Donald” Trump had bought “Monday Night RAW,” they didn’t actually mean it. What they meant was that Trump “bought” it in their ongoing story line in which Donald Trump buys “Raw.”

Okee dokee. We know that wrestling is fake – Vince McMahon didn’t really die in a car explosion, f’rinstance. But we didn’t know that extended to fake press releases sent to real newspapers. Talk about staying in character.

I’m not even sure what to say about this. Just…cut it out, USA.
