TACO BELL CHIHUAHUAHer name was Gidget.

But you best know her as the cute Chihuahua who helped sell tacos and burritos for the Taco Bell restaurant chain. Who can forget the “talking” dog and its catchphrase, “Yo, quiero, Taco Bell.”

Well, we have sad news to report.

Gidget has died, according to People magazine. She died of a stroke Tuesday night. She was 15 years old.

The dog’s trainer, Sue Chipperton, told People magazine: “She made so many people happy.” The dog was retired from acting, and mostly hung around in the sun, Chipperton told the magazine.

She was also a real pro.

Said Chipperton: “Gidget always knew where the camera was.”
