NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I admit that I have not yet gone through all of the stages of grieving about tonight’s final new episode of NBC;s 20-year-old “Law and Order.” First off, my FAVORITE SHOW OF ALL TIME is not quite dead until tonight, and with all the reruns, the current spin-offs and the upcoming “Law and Order; L.A.” around, the ghost of Jack McCoy and the 27th precinct will linger. And linger. And then linger some more.
I’m still stuck in Stage 1: Shock and denial, although I feel Stage 1.5 – AUGGGGH! JACK! NO!!!! coming on.
I will be watching the show this evening and writing about the end of the Mothership. Anyone else?

13 years ago my husband and I left our native New York for Boston. Law and Order was always my favorite; after our move, it provided a mini visit home. I loved all the cast but especially partial to Noth and Orbach. They looked, talked and even walked like NYC cops. I also thought Adam Schiff’s character was terrific.
The scripts were marvelously written and NY actors provided a talented cast. I will miss this show!Twenty years who could have predicted such a successful run?
Since all the guys are thinking this, let me go ahead and say it.
Yes, they knew how to hire/cast assistant DA’s.
1. Connie Rubirosa/Alana De La garza-drop dead knock out. One of the prettiest ladies on the boob tube.
2. Angie Harmon-gorgeous. The strongest DA of the group. Jack just got in her way..
3.Claie Kincaid- kind of mousy but still hot.
4. Elizabeth Roehm- the lone blondie. Didn’t rate as high with the male demographic so they turned her into a lesbian at the end of her run.
20 years of watching the show I should actually have something more to say but I don’t.
