This is Madeleine Stowe in a 1991 movie called Revenge, which involved Kevin Costner, Anthony Quinn, sex, deception and awesomeness.

And below is Madeleine Stowe in a 2011 television show called Revenge, involving a bunch of pretty young people substituted for Costner and Quinn, plus all of the sex, deception and awesomeness you’ve come to expect from a Madeleine Stowe project called Revenge. Apparently, if the name doesn’t change, neither does the face, because except for a wee bit of rounding in the jaw…

IT’S THE SAME FACE.

We come not to snark and whisper about work done and whatnot, because we come only to say: WOWWWWWW, GIRL! You look so good it’s sick. And we’re jealous. Like, throwing a drink in your face while wearing a formal gown and a cocktail ring the size of Arizona jealous (“Revenge” and bonus “Dynasty” shout-out! Recognize, Bob Mackie!!!) The effect of whatever the heck is going on – magic beans, top secret lab work, a genie – is so startling that we’d rather not know.

We just bow to you and say that when the time comes that we might be in need, we’d like you to drop us the coordinates of that cave where you found that genie.

One Response to “Today’s Awesome Thing: Madeleine Stowe’s unaging face!”

  1. Mamie says:

She looks terrific, and she really works that role as the evil ice princess, smiling as she calmly inserts the dagger. Is this the way rich people act? Scary behavior, I’ll stay with the little people. She is really rocking that Herve Leger dress-wow!
