It will backfire on him. I agree that lieing is part of the game, but Jeff on Survivor doesnt even consider Johnny Fairplay a real player…hero or villian, he’s nothing and I campare this lie to be similar to that kind of thing. I can’t wait for Matt to go either, he seems to think he’s a leader. We’ll see when he’s not HoH, but I don’t think Rachel has a major problem to put him up this week..maybe she’ll see a reason..I hope so.

I also don’t understand the outrage. I liked when Johnny Fairplay lied in Survivor (he also had outside help!) and I like that Matt is trying it too. I do not think it will help him because he kind of has that weasel vibe and everyone has picked up on it in the house. But good for him for actually playing the game instead of sitting back and doing nothing.

i like the lie. I think it is part of the game. But you have to wonder in the final 3 would you really pick Matt to take to the jury? That the only question I have. I’m not going to be sitting beside a man who’s wife is dying and think I’m going to win.

Lying is in no way, shape, or form breaking any rules set by Big Brother. Everybody lies in the BB house, Matt’s lie is just bigger than most. I doubt it will work for him because nobody gets a pity vote in BB, but he has every right to say anyghing he wants to. I just don’t understand the outrage you and others seem to feel. It’s just a game and this is how he’s choosing to play it. There is no right or wrong way to play BB, and to vilify him over this is ridiculous and just as outrageous.
