Discouraged by the intense competition, Tara considers leaving the ranch.

Week 12 at The Biggest Loser ranch starts with a question.

In a wrenching decision for most everyone, contestants have to choose between trainers Jillian and Bob.

Jillian has the best track record of working with competitors who go on to win the quarter-mil prize. She’s the one who makes the losers cry.

Bob is known as someone who believes in his charges. Mr. Nice Guy.

Helen, Mike, Laura and Tara go with Jillian.

Kristin, Aubrey, Sione, Filipe, and Ron go with Bob.

For the rest of this week all the players seem as if they actually enjoy the hours and hours of gut-busting workouts.

Time for the challenge: Part 1 has each contestant distributing the amount of weight they’ve lost to the competitors of their choice.

Kristin describes the game this way:

“I like to say it’s the game called ‘Let’s see how much everyone in the house hates you.’ “

The members of Bob’s team quickly align against members of Jillian’s team.

Competitors add 257 pounds for Tara.

Tara is devastated. She feels picked on. She considers throwing the weigh-in so she can exit the show.

“It hurt me that people were just ganging up on me,” Tara says. “Obviously, people were just out to get me.”

In Part 2 of the challenge, NASCAR champ Clint Bowyer promises VIP tickets to a race for the winner – in addition to immunity.

Even with all the extra weight, unbelievably, Tara wins the challenge by pulling her heap of a car a half-mile across a finish line.

Now for the weigh-in.

Tara, who has immunity, chalks up a total loss of 99 pounds in 12 weeks.

Kristin lost 8 pounds this week to drive her total to 105 pounds – the first woman ever to lose more than 100 pounds on The Biggest Loser ranch.

“I feel on top of the world that I am able to have control over this,” Kristin says.

Aubrey hopes her 4-pound loss is enough.
Mike loses 6 pounds.
Laura loses 7 pounds.
Helen loses 5 pounds.
Sione loses 7 pounds.
Ron loses 10 pounds.
Filipe loses 4 pounds to surpass more than 100 pounds lost on the ranch.

It’s Aubrey and Filipe to the elimination room. After brief discussion Aubrey is voted off the show.

On the ranch Aubrey started at 249. She leaves weighing 191 pounds.

Aubrey comes home and is delighted to find her 500-pound father has lost 26 pounds while she was gone.

With the five children constantly pulling on her, Aubrey gains 9 pounds after being home for three weeks.

Two months later – She is down 10 pounds since her departure.

The show ends with this teaser: Next week the players sent home have a chance to return to the ranch.

I can’t wait to see everyone.
