Hundreds of Tampa Bay residents are hoping for a spot on “The Biggest Loser.”

About 600 people lined up Saturday at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino to appear before casting directors. Some showed up as early as 3 a.m.

One Sarasota woman showed up with a fake dynamite on her back and a sign declaring she’s a ticking time bomb.

It was the first day of casting for the NBC show. Auditions will also be held in Washington, Boston and Chicago.
