Unfortunately Denise Richards never got a leg up on the competition.

Unfortunately Denise Richards never got a leg up on the competition.

One of the frustrating things about reality competition shows is that so many times the wrong people get sent home and the contestants who stink get to stick around a lot stronger than they really should.

Take Dancing with the Stars, for instance. Denise Richards got the dreaded boot last night even after winning that stupid dance-off competition (I hate that part of the show) against Holly Madison.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not shedding any tears for Denise. I’m sure she’ll pop up on another reality show in a few weeks. Something on VH1, I’m guessing. Nor am I surprised she got voted off. As I wrote in a previous blog, women don’t like her. At all. And I’m guessing very few of them voted for her. Denise’s dancing abilities were just a few notches above Kim Kardashian’s.

But while Denise showed some slight improvement this week, Steve Wozniak continues to perform as if he’s a circus clown. The Woz Man certainly dresses like one. As Carrie Ann correctly noted on Monday’s show, the novelty that is The Woz is starting to wear off. He’s this season’s version of Cloris Leachman. I mean, the guy got a 10 – a 10! That’s the worst score in six seasons.

Yet, the hobbled Woz Man gets to dance another week. Such is life in the reality competition show’s twisted – and unfair — universe.
