We’ve got a long history together.

Jerry’s mom lives right here in Palm Beach County, and who can forget the classic “Del Boca Vista” episodes of Seinfeld?

Now, Seinfeld is returning to the Kravis Center (or, as he once quipped, “the center of all things Kravis”) to kick off the performing arts venue’s fall season with shows tonight and Saturday.

What’s new in the Seinfeld universe?

• A faux reunion on Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. It’s a plotline about Larry trying to do the impossible: Pull off a Seinfeld reunion. The idea obviously has drawing power: It got Curb its highest ratings in more than five years.

• Seinfeld is producing a reality show. The Marriage Ref, which is scheduled to premiere in March on NBC, has a “marriage referee” sorting out couples’ domestic troubles. He promises it won’t be another reality show that humiliates people.

• Seinfeld is a “Porschephile.” When you’ve got his money, why not? He appeared last week on a half-hour Independent Film Channel program that was a cross-promotion between the cable channel and Porsche Cars North America.

• OK, everything he touches doesn’t turn to gold. Critics have resoundingly trashed the ads Seinfeld did for Microsoft’s Windows Vista.
