Sarah Palin is taking her conservative message to Fox News. An attorney for the former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate says Palin will provide some type of commentary for the cable network.
Attorney Thomas Van Flein declined to elaborate on the deal.
Palin is hugely popular with conservatives and has more than 1 million Facebook followers.
She stepped down as Alaska governor in July, 17 months before the end of her first term in office. Her resignation came less than a year after she vaulted to overnight fame as John McCain’s running mate.
Palin worked part-time as a weekend sportscaster in the 1980s for KTUU-TV in Anchorage.

I really don’t think she lies. I just think she’s clueless on nat’l security & international affairs, and therefore states those idiotic ideas on those issues. She’s well-meaning though, but we need more than a good heart and intentions at the top.

Fox news is fair and balanced. They at least always have people on both sides of an issue. I am an independent and I would rather watch Fox News any day…….Closer to facts than any other of the liberal stations.

She is such an embarrasment. Fox leans right and MSNBC leans left, so what else is new? Is either fair and balanced? A big NO on that one. Please get a grip.
C’mon . . . all you folks are missing the point. This is a business decision. Gov. Palin will reach new viewers and new and additional viewers will increase ratings and increased ratings bring in more advertising revenue. And that’s the whole story! This is a smart move all around.
I’d agree that it is definitely a business decision for Fox but they are just serving up more of the same to their base so I don’t really see how this will up their ratings. I do think there will be a lot of people who will turn on Fox for a while just to see what kind of bizarre things she will say. Are there that many people out there who don’t already watch Fox who would only now tune in to watch Palin? I can’t imagine but I don’t know.
As a former Anchorage, Alaska resident, all I can say is “DUH!!!” Anyone with half a brain saw her path leading to Fixed news long, long ago.She was a crappy newscaster before the hate tour took over .Having had to live through and experience the endless lies, yes, LIES Sarah spews, I can only imagine the free rein she will have wih her ill informed racist views. She IS a quitter,she let the people of Alaska down, she has her eyes on the “prize”.
Figures a liberal rag like the Palm Beach Puke would put an unflattering photo of Palin on its first page. This rag is so bad and losing so many readers and advertisers. This kind of biased reporting is exactly why.
Frankly, I’ve never seen an unflattering photo of her yet. There is no disputing that she is one good-looking woman.
She’s all about the money and the publicity. If it wasn’t for the fact that some people seem to actually believe the silly things she says, she would really be a lot funnier than she already is. I do think that the comedy channel would be more appropriate. Oh, when she finds another job that will garner her more cash and publicity, then she will quit this job, on the spot, blame the liberal media for her problems and go on to the new gig. You do have to give her credit for the way she uses people, though.
I’m glad she’ll be on Fox. We will all be able to see how her truly well-meaning good heart and intentions are offset by her empty brain. As for national security and international affairs, well, let’s just say she ain’t seen the ball since kickoff !!!! Anyone yet taking bets on when she’ll quit Fox?

Victor you clown. President Obama was a state Senator, not the Commander in Chief of a entire state, big difference. Oh and Vicky? He stepped down to actually run —and win the Presidency. Unlike the Klondike Barbie who just out and out quit–period. She quit, to write a book, sell out and speculate on whether to run for an office that she clearly has no credentials or stomach for. For if she couldn’t stand the heat of the Govenorship of Alaska, she surely would get her Barbie hair too frizzie trying to play President. The woman is a fraud.

Not Surprised! As Sarah Palin has proven, she cannot process a thought or utter a sentence of her own without leaving everyone’s mouths open in disbelief. Therefore, it is appropriate that they stick her on Fox News where they will write all of her “news commentaries” for her and place Sarah – The Puppet Palin at a desk and have her attempt to read from a teleprompter. The Republicans hope is that having her speak Fox’s words will make her sound and appear more credible and intelligent. I for one cannot wait to watch Sarah try and keep up with the teleprompter with those unblinking bug eyes. I see an even bigger come back for Tina Faye with all the new material she’ll have. But Tina, please don’t leave Third Rock.

Interesting listening to the bloggers. One can tell what party each is from. How much experience in governing does Obama have? Sarah quit as governor because of the unlimited number of charges against her that were costing Alaska lots of Dollars. She could not Govern and be constantly defending herself. Alaska needed a gov that could spend time governing, not defending. I think its to bad when one group has to name call the other. I am a conservative so I am called stupid and empty headed. Anyone who talks that way has a finger pointed back at themselves. Fox is trying to wake people up to what the elites are trying to do to the future of the USA. To bad some wont wake up until it has happened.
Palin is better off driving a truck in Alaska and removing the snow she gives out with her snow jobs
