Susan Boyle is a YouTube sensation and poster child for judge not lest ye be judged.

Her audition for “Britain’s Got Talent” has been watched by more than 28 million YouTubers since Saturday.

Boyle’s performance is memorable because no one, including the judges, took the unemployed woman seriously.

Audience members rolled their eyes when the salt-and-pepper haired Scot said she wanted to be a professional singer, others chuckled after she said she wanted to be as famous as Elaine Paige.

All were shocked when she started singing.

The 47-year-old amateur soprano belted out a perfect rendition of the popular Les Mis song “I Dreamed A Dream.” The title was fitting for Boyle, who has been fine tuning her voice since she was 12.

Lyrically, the song is about lost innocence and broken dreams, so when Boyle hit the build perfectly I started bawling.

Picture it: an amazingly talented middle-aged woman – who has never been kissed – realizing a three-decade old dream. It’s unbelievable.

Here is Boyle in all her glory.

For comparison, here is Broadway star Ruthie Henshall singing the same song for the the musical’s 10th anniversary.

Susan Boyle appears to be a humble, noble person with a great sense of humor and a wonderfully positive outlook. I congratulate her on her stupendous performance and her triumph over people’s negative expectations. I wish her well in recovering from whatever it is that is giving her problems.
