Where I have a big problem with the American version, is that the writers make Micheal extremely mean. I'm not sure if there are any people on earth that would allow the "boss" to act that way towards one's mother and not do something. By allowing Jim and Pam to let Micheal embarrass the mother in the restaurant and not stand up to him makes me want to stop watching this show.
