Gender-Bending Ferns Named After Lady Gaga
The 'New York Times' reports that scientists at the University of Dunham, North Carolina named 19 species of ferns after singer Lady Gaga. Some examples of the newly named species are include 'Gaga germanotta' (which is Gaga's real last name) and 'Gaga monstraparva' which means 'little monsters' in latin.
